Lips stand out with color and fullness.
As we age our lips lose their pink youthful color and hyper-pigmentation becomes prominent. Pigment can shape lips to make them more symmetrical and give youth back to your face.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Am I a candidate for permanent makeup on my lips?
There are several factors that can effect retention therefore a consultation is necessary. Do not schedule a Microblading or Permanent Makeup Service if the following condition(s) apply to you:
Pregnant or Nursing
Sick (cold, flu, etc.)
Any Blood diseases including Anemia
Cancer (If in remission would require your physician's sign-off)
Viral infections and/or diseases
A Pacemaker or major heart problems
Tendency towards keloid scarring
MRSA-Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus
Used Accutane in the past year
If you are knowingly under the influence of drugs or any mood altering drugs/medications. Please do not do any recreational drugs a minimum of 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
Have any Thyroid (Hyper/Hypo) related condition that requires any medication (ie: Synthroid ). Thyroid medications WILL cause the pigment not to retain properly.
Super thin/vascular sun damaged skin
Diabetes type 1 & 2 (prone to slow healing & Infection). If controlled, a physician's note will allow me to work on the skin.
Have upcoming vacations or special occasions planned. Please book an appointment a minimum of two months in advance to give time for the healing process and touchup appointment.
Platelet Disorders-Aggregation Disorders
An aggregation disorder is when platelets do not bind with fibrinogen and other proteins in order to stick to other platelets. As a result the platelets cannot form a plug to stop the bleeding from a damaged blood vessel.
Autoimmune Disorder of any kind (MS, RA, Lupus or the like) Due to the medicines to treat these diseases, pigment will not retain.
If you are any of these medications, you will bleed and the pigment WILL NOT retain

What can I expect during the healing process for a permanent lip contour and lip liner?
Healed results will vary with each individual client. NO guarantees can be made, additional sessions may be required to obtain optimal results. This will result in additional charges. Although we give our best efforts to provide you with quality service, many factors can result in a less than desired outcome as each client will heal differently.
The lips are a mucosal muscle and therefore do not retain pigment as easily as brows and lids. Clients can expect to lose at least 40%-70% of the color, making a touchup crucial. Color fades and resurfaces in the months following the procedure. The lips will not heal as dark as they appear immediately after the procedure.
Is a touchup necessary after my first session?
The first touch up should be scheduled no sooner than 4 weeks and no later than 8 weeks following the first session. This touch-up appointment is crucial for the best results. Additional touch-up appointments may be needed for oily, problematic skin, those with dark pigmented skin and clients who do not follow aftercare instructions properly.
Can I have a permanent lip contour or lip liner service if I have a history of cold sores?
Clients with cold sores should contact their primary care doctor to obtain an antiviral prescription. You will need enough medication to take 2 days prior, day of procedure, and 2 days afterwards, for a total of 5 days. This will be necessary for EACH appointment.
How long does permanent makeup last?
Everyone's skin, metabolism, internal and external factors are different and as a result the length will vary. Some client's retain the pigment longer than others. Clients can get 1 to 3 years out of their procedure, I recommend an annual touchup for the best results!
We utilize Makeup Tattoo pigments, Icolor and Qulora and have additional training from Oxana Hull that studied with Anastasia Gilmanova. These are some of the colors we have in stock and have other choices that can be looked at during the consultation.
